What is a chaperone?
A chaperone is a trained staff member who can be present during your medical examination or consultation to help you feel more comfortable and supported. They are there to ensure your privacy and dignity are maintained throughout the appointment. You can request a chaperone at any time, or the healthcare provider may suggest one. Their role is to assist you and make sure you have a positive experience.
How to request a chaperone?
To request a chaperone, simply speak to a member of staff, and they will be happy to assist you in arranging one.
